Generators for small hydro power plants

Over the past twenty years, the Company has produced more than 160 compact and bulb-type generators for small hydro power plants, of rated power from 0.5 to 10 MVA, rated speed up to 1000 rpm, suitable for all types of turbines.

Main characteristics are:

• Rated voltage from 400 V to 13.8 kV
• Stator winding made of coils
• Global Vacuum Pressure Impregnation (GVPI)
• Cylindrical rotor or salient pole rotor
• Brushless excitation (with PMG as an option)
• Open and closed cooling type (with or without a heat exchanger)
• Maximum stator diameter up to 2500 mm
