Successful completion of contracts for Croatian and Georgian markets

KONČAR – GIM successfully completed in November 2021 one contract for cement industry in Croatia by delivering two motors, one high-voltage asynchronous squirrel-cage motor for a coal mill fan drive and one low-voltage asynchronous squirrel-cage motor for a main kiln drive. The motors were delivered to one of the largest cement manufacturers in the region which is also a part of one of the largest multinational building materials manufacturers in the world with manufacturing facilities in more than 50 countries worldwide.

The quality and support which we offer to our customers, from contracting phase to contract completion was recognized by this customer as an important competitive advantage comparing to other suppliers. With this delivery, we have proven that KONČAR-GIM remains recognized as a reliable partner to yet another multinational company.

In cooperation with one Austrian partner was successfully completed a delivery of electromechanical equipment for Project Akhalkalki in Georgia. The Project Akhalkalaki includes delivery of equipment for two power plants, one on the Paravani River and the other one on the right tributary of the Korkhistskali River. The project is a part of USA-Icelandic-Georgian investment in the hydropower sector aimed at transforming Georgia into a center of clean energy in the Caucasus region. For this project KONČAR-GIM has delivered three synchronous generators for SHPP Akhalkalaki 1 and one synchronous generator for SHPP Akhalkalaki 2.
